Despite the dearth of a hit single or a smashing album, Yelawolf is not a bad rapper at all. Aside from his well regarded debut release, he racked up two mixtapes and a slew of notable appearances on rap radio shows. In 2009, the effervescent Texan signed a deal with Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment. He followed that up with a few more releases and a handful of tour appearances. Throughout all of this, he has also found time to hone his craft and prove himself worthy of the throne. Among his best moments was a feature on the hit show The Real World, in which he was featured in a short documentary. His other notable moments include a featured spot in the UPN Network's reality series The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott, a feature in the HBO series Defiance, and a guest spot in the cult classic film The Fast and the Furious.
